overall a good laptop for a student (something that will fit into my bag, so prefer something small and slim)

ps. I don’t want a netbook/notebook…just a laptop

I bought this belkin unit cooling fan stand 3 months ago and it worked fine for the first month and a half. Eventually, the legs broke off off and it started making noise. So i had to open the whole thing up and clean the fan, until one of the fan pieces broke off. Does anyone know if there’s a good laptop cooling unit stand that’s $ 40 or below and 17-inches?

I am interested in a laptop desk from Bed Bath & Beyond. it has a light and everything and it’s made for laptops but i was just wondering if i could just use it as a desk to do do homework on.

You’re better off getting one from http://www.laptopdesk.net/. A regular lap desk won’t cut it. The ones on LaptopDesk also have cooling capabilities… It’s just better for your computer.

I’m looking for a laptop for everyday use. I do not want to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a laptop. Are there any laptops (preferably in stores) that are cheap? If so how much?

you probably wouldn’t find anything nice for under $ 200. The only thing I can think of is a mini netbook. A good, long lasting, worth the price laptop would cost around $ 500-$ 1000. I would keep checking online. And try not to get a used laptop, you might get scammed.

I just got an adapter. It is wireless. You plug it in to the head phone part and tune it in to the station. I have it because My car has a cassette player in it. I like to listen to my Cd’s, and MP3′s (Not to mention my brother’s when I drive around like to watch DVDs). It is aw some they have them at Best Buy, FYE, and Suncoast. Good Luck!

Looking to spend 800 max for a 14 inchish laptop with a long battery for classes and a separate graphics card to play mmos such as WoW on. Any suggestions?

Yes there are a lot of laptops of this kind. However, many cost over $ 1,000. The best gaming laptop I can think of is the Dell Alienwear m15x gaming laptop. Maybe what you are looking for is the Alienware AM11x-826CSB Gaming Laptop, which costs $ 798, just in your budget!

My kid can take off the laptop keys while I am away from the room even for 5 or 10 min. The problem with Sony Vaio keys is that under their keys there are tiny parts which if taken off become easily broken. I was thinking whether someone knows if there is such keyboad cover which you cannot easily take off, perhaps with a lock.

Black Friday is the best deal day ever for electronics. You’ll have to stand outside of Best Buy for a while before they open though.
