Usually most companies take 3-5 days, but it could be longer. If you ordered it this past week or this weekend it will take longer because of Memorial Day.

I ordered a dell inspiron 17 laptop about an hour ago on the phone. How long do they take to be build and delivered to the uk?
The confirmation email did say approximately 9th October which I thought was a bit long.

Longer then I expected too. But they deliver on time if that’s any consolation. Remember they are custom built.

I have an old laptop that is barely functional. I want to recycle it but to a place that will magnetically erase all of my files and information on there, just to be safe. Is there any place that can do that? Is there a fee?

Call your local municipality for recycling locations in your area that recycle old electronic products such as computers.

I think macbooks are overpriced.I suggest you get a asus or toshiba laptop it is a pretty good computer and it has an excellent cpu and graphics card. It can run almost anything you throw at it.
I have a few that I would recommend and they have great price tags:
