Question by : Will future shop customize a laptop for me?
I would like to purchase an HP pavilion at future shop. Only problem is it doesn’t come with the hardware I want. Will the customize my laptop the way I want it?

I don’t want other sites/stores that will let me customize…I want to know specifically if future shop will do this. I have $ 700 worth of gift card there.

HP is horrible, seriously they shouldn’t be allowed to exist. You’re only going to have problems with the thing to then find out HP won’t help you or you’ll be constantly re fixing you’re machine. You’d be better off getting a Toshiba or a Dell in the $ 700 range then maybe getting some extra ram/copy of linux later. Seriously don’t buy HP.

Laptop LCD???

My dv1000 lap top has a broken LCD. I found a part that fits it and before I install it, Do I need to download a driver for it?? I am not sure how things work when replacing an LCD screen. Any advise would be awesome. Oh and I have it all taken apart and all I need is screw it in and connect the wires.

No, you won’t need a driver. The chances are pretty good that it won’t work, though, unless it’s an identical LCD.
