My laptop bit the dust about a month ago and I wanted to boot up my old desktop.
It needs to be reformatted, but I long lost my copy of windows for my desktop.
Can I use my dead laptops copy of xp to install into my desktop?

no, u would hav to get an old computer or buy a new one and hav to pay someone to take vista off and put xp on because they only sell new computers with vista now.
